Treatment Secretary at SiS Youth Home Råby
The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse, across the country. At SiS, your work life will be an exciting challenge. SiS Youth Home Råby accommodates both girls and boys. We have both closed and open placements for closed youth care as well as treatment places for youth placed under the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU).
Job Description
As a treatment secretary at Råby, you will have a varied and exciting job. This may include working with the youth on the department together with treatment pedagogues, holding meetings with social services, and planning for the youths' treatment. As a treatment secretary, you are responsible for documentation and treatment planning in consultation with the unit manager. The position involves working in a team with other functions such as psychologists, teachers, treatment pedagogues, etc. Additionally, you will maintain close contact with social services and the youths' networks. The role of treatment secretary may also involve acting as deputy unit manager.
Qualifications
The work places high demands on personal suitability, especially regarding interaction. You should have a genuine interest in treatment work, a solid positive view of people, and the ability to meet individuals in vulnerable situations while maintaining a high level of safety awareness. You must be flexible, able to handle a high workload at times, and able to work both independently and in a group.
Requirements
- A university degree of at least 210 credits in social sciences/behavioral sciences, e.g., a degree in social work, or a university degree of 180 credits in behavioral sciences, or another higher education that meets SiS guidelines for competence requirements for coordinating/planning treatment work.
- Knowledge and experience in treatment work with youth.
- Driver's license (B).
Meritorious:
- Leadership experience.
- If you have previously worked in compulsory care.
- Experience in documentation regarding social investigations and authority exercise.

Employment:
The position is a fixed-term employment until 2026-08-31. Start date by agreement.
